How does the Nobis air-heating pellet stove work?

The stove is a fully automatic device that feeds pellets into the firebox on its own, generates the proper chimney draft, and ignites the fire. The automatic system fully manages the operation of the components, ensuring optimal operating conditions.

Air-heating pellet stoves heat the space with warm air, providing an immediate heating effect.

The following operating modes are available to the user:

• Manual mode—allows you to turn the heater on and off whenever you need to. Dedicated buttons let you adjust the heating power and room temperature.

• Comfort Clima – the heater automatically turns on and off based on the set room temperature,

• weekly scheduler – allows you to set the times for turning the unit on and off for selected days of the week,

• Wi-Fi module – enables remote control after connecting to a wireless Internet network.

The Nobis pellet stove comes equipped with a warm-air blower that can be freely adjusted. The airflow is directed forward, ensuring better heat distribution throughout the room. Additionally, the fan can be turned off completely at any time, regardless of the stove’s heat output, allowing heat to spread naturally in complete silence.

One dedicated fan for the DGP system

Once the stove is equipped with one additional DGP fan, the heated air can be directed through a duct to other rooms, such as the bedroom, kitchen, or bathroom. This allows you to make better use of the heat generated by the unit and extend heating beyond the room where the stove is located. The effectiveness of this solution depends on the length and route of the duct, as well as proper installation. You can freely adjust the fan’s speed or turn it off completely as needed.

Pellet Heating

By choosing pellets, you take full advantage of the technology behind air-circulating pellet fireplaces. The built-in automation ensures your home stays warm around the clock. Simply set the optimal room temperature using the radio remote control or start the stove via the app on your phone. The stove can automatically “switch” from wood to pellets once the wood has completely burned out. The pellet function also features a built-in timer, allowing you to set the stove’s operating hours.

Wood-Burning Heating

You can load wood at any time, even while the fireplace is running on pellets. The automatic system will switch the operating mode on its own, ignite the wood, and fully control the combustion process. In wood mode, you can use the remote control to set the desired heat output or target room temperature. Automatic optimization of the wood combustion process ensures a clean glass pane for a long time and maximum efficiency.

Wood-Burning Without Electricity

In the event of a power outage, the hybrid fireplace becomes a traditional wood-burning fireplace. The user must personally supervise the entire wood-burning process. This solution allows the hybrid fireplace to be used as an emergency heat source in the home.

Automatic switching between pellet/wood and wood/pellet combustion modes requires no additional actions from the user, such as cleaning the firebox or replacing the grates.

Materials Designed for Long-Term Durability

Nobis stoves are made from certified, extra-thick materials, and their bodies are automatically welded and individually tested for leaks. Sturdy cast-iron heat exchangers and a solid firebox weighing a total of 60 kilograms ensure the unit’s durable, reliable operation for years to come.

Automatic Firebox Cleaning

The firebox basket is equipped with a rotating system. The automatic system continuously monitors the condition of the firebox and initiates cleaning only when necessary. The stove automatically extinguishes itself, cleans the firebox, and reignites, maintaining high efficiency and ease of use.

The wide ash pan makes it easy to remove ash, reducing the effort required for daily use of the stove. Under the right conditions, maintenance may be as simple as emptying the ash pan once every two weeks or so.

The unit effectively distributes heat while maintaining a high level of acoustic comfort—even when the fan is running. Additionally, the Nobis fireplace can operate in convection heating mode, just like a standard wood-burning fireplace. With the blower completely turned off, the stove radiates heat into the room without any unpleasant mechanical noises.

Remote Control of the Fireplace

The Nobis Connect system allows you to control the stove using the free Nobis-Fi app—from home or from anywhere else. You can turn the stove on and off, monitor its operation, set the temperature, and program its operating hours.

The Slim-type fireplace has a shallow depth and can be installed with its back directly against a non-combustible wall. Additionally, the design allows for a top flue outlet.
