The NOBIS LIBERA 8/11 V hybrid fireplace with the DGP system, installed in a wooden house on Sulejowski Lake, in the Łódź Province. The slender, rounded body in a dark steel casing blends well with the natural wooden logs, massive staircase, and stone finish of the fireplace area. The large, panoramic glass panel effectively showcases the flame, giving the interior a cozy atmosphere while providing comfortable heating.
The greatest advantage of the LIBERA model is BI-FUEL hybrid technology, which allows for heating with both pellets and wood in a single firebox. When operating on pellets, the fireplace automatically ignites the fire, feeds the fuel, and controls the combustion process. When residents want to enjoy a traditional log fire, they can manually switch to wood heating. This solution combines the convenience of pellet automation with the ability to use natural wood, even without an electrical supply in manual mode.
In this project, we also used a hot air distribution system (DGP). The LIBERA model allows for the connection of an additional fan that directs heated air through a duct to another room. Thanks to this, the heat generated by the fireplace can be used not only where it is installed but also in another part of the house. This is a particularly practical solution in buildings with separate rooms, where heating the living room alone might not be sufficient.
The LIBERA model also offers automatic firebox cleaning, intelligent combustion control, and remote control via a thermostat or Wi-Fi app. The Comfort Clima feature allows you to automatically turn the unit on and off according to the set temperature, and the weekly programmer lets you schedule heating. The front fan can be turned off completely, resulting in quiet operation in natural convection mode. When using the DGP, the airflow to an additional room can be adjusted independently.
